Majuka, LLC., specializes in the restoration and conservation of sculptural art antiquities from around the globe, with a focus on art of the Americas, Oceania, Asia and Europe.
The Majuka staff is trained to handle ceramic, wood, ivory, bone, metals, shell, stone synthetics and more.
Using a combination of technical processes, we consolidate, carve, inlay, recreate or rebuild missing and/ or damaged areas. We also specialize in glueing severely broken objects. The final repair work is then blended to match the original patina or polychrome surface on the restored areas.
Arrangements can also be made for on-location services of monumental, overall fragile or permanently installed works.
Through our network of affiliates, we offer options for custom mounting, bases and displays.
Majuka serves both the small collector, dealer and organization as well as larger institutions and museum collections.
